Jubetzy Crespo

PhD rotation student

Jubetzy is an incoming PhD student interested in metabolic disorders and defects in various pathways. She's native from Puerto Rico, where she obtained a B.S. in General Biology with a minor concentration in Chemistry. Her research experience includes being part of the "Tiny Earth Student Sourcing Antibiotic Discovery Program" in the Department of Microbiology and the "Partnership for Research in Education and Materials" in the Department of Chemistry at the University of Puerto Rico. Also, "Rustbelt Center for AIDS Research Program" in the Department of Molecular Biology at Case Western University. She was part of the "Developing Future Biologists Program" at the University of Michigan and "Computing across the Science's Semester" at Argonne National Laboratory. In other matters, she has attended Conferences such as ABRCMS, SACNAS, and SERMACS.
